America. The United States of America. I get so disgusted when I think about the United States. We live in the most disgusting, selfish, arrogant country in the world. Not to mention it's the FATTEST! United we stand? Are you kidding me? We all hate each other. Racism is still going strong. What year is it? 2009? 2009?! And their is still racism?? That shows how much we've grown.
Most of us(not all of us), take life and what we have for granted. We complain about shit, but don't do anything to even TRY to fix it. We just wait for someone to resolve our own problems. We take life for granted, we take our kids for granted. Not even realizing that something could happen tomorrow and you could NEVER hold your child again. Or kiss the ones you love. Child abuse rates are going up and Suicide rates are sky rocketing (mostly girls too). Crime in general is getting worse. Plus, it doesn't help that we are pissing off other countries! We'll be at war with everyone in know time, right? Jesus.... People in general are being killed off left and right and it really bothers me. But the U.S. has to be doing the most killing. Because we're not just killing families in other countries, we're also killing people that live HERE! Abuse, kidnapping, rape, murder. It happens every single day...and sure we're sad for a second, but we brush it off, right? At least it wasn't us. That's so horrible! No one takes the time to think about what those families are going though and what they'll keep going through their entire life. At least it wasn't us..... We brush off the HUGE things, but let little things bother us. The stain on your favorite shirt. Or you can't fit into a size 2!
I'm not going to lie either, I've had my very selfish moment and I've said some horrible things. We all have. I try to catch myself before I complain about something not worth complaining about. Don't complain about your clothes, because some people don't have any. Don't complain that you're STILL hungry, because their are people who haven't eaten in over a week. Don't argue about what color to paint your home, because some people don't have a home to go to. Perhaps this little blog will do some good, but I doubt it. This is my little voice shouting out, trying to start a positive chain reaction. But you'll read it, think about it, and just brush it off...(someone might even post a comment complaining about how I'm wrong...don't waste my time).
